What does “Twilight” mean ?

Twilight is defined as last rate of the day, when 18 holes cannot be completed before dark. Twilight will change from 4pm, to 5pm & 6pm, then adjusting back to 5pm and then 4pm again in the second half of the year as sunset times change.

Safety

ONLY Players with a valid driver’s license over the age of 18 may operate an MCG Golf Cart.
Golf carts look like toys, but present certain dangers if not used with caution. ALL riders must be seated while the cart is in motion!

PLEASE have a SAFETY CONVERSATION with your juniors about these and other healthy boundaries while on the course.
THANK YOU!

Pace of Play

A Proper pace of play is essential for ALL golfers to enjoy the game, and to plan and carry out the rest of their day’s activities. Strict adherence to the proper pace is a gift and a courtesy, that all golfers should give, and receive from each other.

A proper pace of play is defined as “Less than 2 hours for 9 holes of play.” That breaks down to just about 12 minutes to complete each hole.

Have your Juniors play a scaled down version of the course, from the Fairway, or the most forward set of tee markers offered, in order for them to play the same number of shots that an adult would take to arrive at the green.
